Het Supportability Engineering team bestaat uit 60 domeinexperts en is verantwoordelijk voor de definitie, ontwikkeling, realisatie en training van ILS (Integrated Logistic Support) voor Radarsystemen en Command & Control Systemen. Het team bestaat uit de volgende disciplines: Logistics & Maintenance Engineering, Customer Documentation, Customer Training, Obsolescence Management en ILS Customer Documentation Team is verantwoordelijk voor alle klantgerichte technische documentatie met betrekking tot onze Radarsystemen en Command & Control Systemen, die voornamelijk worden gebruikt in het maritieme domein. Het huidige team bestaat uit ca. 15 Technisch Senior Technisch Auteur ontwikkel je de technisch gebruikersdocumentatie voor onze hightech producten. Je verzamelt de technische informatie, onderzoekt technische specificaties, gebruikt de kennis van specialisten vanuit de hele organisatie en test de procedures op de daadwerkelijke systemen. Je schrijft en onderhoudt duidelijk en correct geformuleerde teksten voor de Operator-, Maintenance- en System Manuals. Het Customer Documentation Team draagt ook bij aan nieuwe ontwikkelingen op het gebied van publicaties. Te denken valt aan het toepassen van Animatie, AR, VR, video etc. Functie-eisen
Afgeronde bachelor- of master opleiding op het gebied van (elektro)techniek of taal (HBO/WO niveau);
Technische achtergrond en/of affiniteit met techniek;
Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring als Technisch Auteur of een soortgelijke functie;
Beschikt over goede communicatieve vaardigheden, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk;
Uitstekende kennis van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal zowel in woord als geschrift;
Vermogen om nauwkeurig, consistent, duidelijk en beknopt Engels te schrijven. Kennis / ervaring op het gebied van STE (Simplified Technical English) is een pre;
Kennis en ervaring op het gebied van ASD S1000D specificatie / Data Modules (DM's) is een pre;
In staat om moeilijke concepten te vertalen naar gemakkelijk te begrijpen informatie voor onze (eind)klanten;
In staat documentatieprojecten van het begin tot eind te leiden;
Zelfstandig te werken, neemt initiatieven, maar werkt ook graag in teamverband;
Kennis van gestructureerde data, zoals XML en kennis/ ervaring van CSDB/CMS is een pre;
Je bent flexibel en open voor technologische veranderingen binnen je vakgebied.
