Data Science Consultant - Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse

As a Data Science Consultant specializing in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing at TMC, you will contribute to optimizing the systems landscape for one of our clients.

Your role involves enhancing service levels, reducing lead and response times, and improving efficiency. The project aims to automate quote generation, enable bulk processing and direct contract activation, enhance digital customer interaction, provide better management information, and address compliance priorities. You will extend the Data Warehouse, improve regulatory reporting, develop business reports, and eliminate locally built applications.

  • Discussing information requirements with users
  • performing data modeling of business entities and events in the Data Warehouse environment
  • Maintaining and extending the Data Warehouse and ETL processes, modeling data marts using tools like Wherescape
  • Creating and modifying reports using Tableau and SQL scripts
  • Advising and training users on report and dashboard creation
  • Actively participating in the reporting Scrum Team, following an Agile Way of Working.
| WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
  • Completed IT-technical education at bachelor's or master's level
  • Passion for information and a strong affinity with IT applications and business processes
  • Ability to understand, describe, and analyze international financial business processes
  • Solid working experience with Tableau or MS Power BI
  • Working experience with MS SQL Server (T-SQL) and preferably Oracle
  • Knowledge of Data Vault and dimensional modeling
  • Preferably, knowledge of Wherescape 3D and Red (nice to have)
  • Experience as a team player and supporter of the Agile Scrum Way of Working
  • Proficiency in English (and preferably Dutch) in both written and verbal communication
