Technologie speelt een steeds grotere rol bij BDO. Om relevant en concurrerend te blijven, worden werkprocessen verder geautomatiseerd; het ‘BDO Data & technologie platform’ speelt hierin een belangrijke rol.

In dit platform wordt dagelijks veel data gegenereerd, en verwerkt, met als doel deze data te gebruiken voor het genereren van waardevolle inzichten ten behoeve van de BDO’er en de klant van BDO. Tevens wordt deze data ingezet ter ondersteuning van A.I.. Dit alles gebeurt volledig in de Azure cloud. Voor data science & A.I. projecten wordt er (waar mogelijk) gebruik gemaakt van gevalideerde, volledige en betrouwbare data welke wordt aangeleverd door het BDO Datamanagement team. Om deze data binnen een data science project om te kunnen zetten in waarde voor BDO is data inhoudelijke domeinkennis cruciaal. Samenwerking met de business is dan ook een belangrijke taak voor een data scientist.

Het Data Science & A.I. team voert projecten uit waarbij de focus ligt op:

- Machine learning
- Deep learning
- Generative A.I.
- MLOps / Data Science Platform ontwikkeling

**Vacatureomschrijving**
Je gaat meehelpen bij het bouwen van de Data Science Foundation om het Data Science platform naar een hoger niveau te brengen en duikt in de code van de data science modellen. Deze modellen bestaan o.a. uit classificatie, voorspellingen en anomalie detectie. Hiernaast wordt er hard ontwikkeld aan Generatieve A.I. waarbij verschillende LLM’s worden ingezet voor procesoptimalisatie en chatbots. Daarbij dienen ook alle bestaande data science modellen (waar mogelijk) inzetbaar te zijn binnen een chatbot sessie.

Verder is er altijd ruimte voor innovatie en het onderzoeken van nieuwe technieken. Dit wordt gestimuleerd d.m.v. het regelmatig organiseren van een Proof of Concept/Value sessie. Ook eigen inbreng van innovatieve projecten wordt erg gewaardeerd. Tevens is er de mogelijkheid tot het begeleiden van afstudeerders door de samenwerking met onderwijsinstellingen in de regio (Fontys ICT & Tu/e).

Naast bovenstaande werkzaamheden zijn er ook afdeling overstijgende Data Science werkzaamheden waarbij de focus ligt op het delen van kennis en standaarden met alle data scientisten binnen de organisatie. Denk daarbij aan:

- Kennisdeling (nieuwe technieken/technologieën/ projecten, best practices presenteren)
- Gezamenlijke hackatons / technology discovery
- Ondersteunen bij data science vraagstukken van andere teams binnen BDO

**Benodigde Kennis/Ervaring**
- Minimaal 2 jaar ontwikkelervaring
- Een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift
- Python en SQL
- Docker (icm containerapps)
- Een afgeronde relevante (technische) opleiding op WO-niveau in de richting van Data Science
- Azure platform kennis
- Werken op basis van de Agile werkwijze (Scrum of DevOps)
- Ontwikkelen op basis van Secure Software Development standaarden
