Your Missions

We are currently looking for a Data Scientist to work for one of our high-tech clients in Eindhoven.

**Role Description**
In this role, you will contribute to the development and optimization of cutting-edge electrolyzes, integral to the green energy transition. Electrolysis, a key process for hydrogen production, generates a multiphase flow of oxygen and hydrogen gas, which impacts water and temperature distribution within the electrolyze stack. Your objective will be to develop advanced computational models that describe and predict this complex behavior, driving efficiency and performance improvements.

**Responsibilities**
- Contribute to cutting-edge projects in renewable energy, focusing on the development and optimization of electrolysers.
- Play a key role in advancing sustainable energy solutions to reduce carbon emissions and combat climate change.
- Develop advanced computational models for electrolysis, optimizing water and temperature distribution within the electrolyser stack.
- Collaborate with a dynamic scrum team of 8 skilled data professionals, including data engineers, analysts, and scientists.
- Bridge the gap between data engineering and data analysis teams to ensure seamless collaboration and data-driven decision-making.
- Utilize advanced data science tools and methodologies (machine learning, deep learning, GenAI) to tackle complex data challenges.
- Engage with stakeholders across various divisions, including Corporate Research and Digital.

**Profile**:

- Proficiency in cloud platforms, preferably Azure, with familiarity in cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., Azure ML, Databricks).
- Strong experience in data science methodologies: model development, training, validation, and deployment, particularly in machine learning, AI, and GenAI.
- Expertise in data modelling, data cleaning, and feature engineering.
- Experience with data processing tools and ML platforms, such as Azure Machine Learning and Databricks (including ML suite).
- Strong understanding of data governance principles for compliant and organized data structures.
- Proficiency in cloud programming languages (Python, SQL, JavaScript), and Python libraries such as TensorFlow, Pandas, PySpark, and Matplotlib.
- Experience in DevOps and MLOps environments, including automated model pipelines and CI/CD frameworks.
- Knowledge of version control tools such as Git and GitHub.
- Familiarity with testing strategies: unit, integration, acceptance, and functional testing.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a data science role with demonstrated impact on production level projects.
- Affinity for mentoring and the ability to coach junior team members and provide technical guidance to the team.
