The role:
We are looking for a Head of Brand & Communications who can take ownership of both our advertising and reputation strategies to drive awareness, consideration and brand guardianship across our DTC, B2B and NSC operations across Europe.
Leading an existing team and exceptional agency roster, you will develop campaigns that differentiate Zeekr through paid and earned media and collaborate with commercial, product and customer functions to generate significant growth.
This is what you will do:
- Strategy; reporting into the Chief Marketing Officer, you'll have responsibility for our communications strategy , channel mix and campaigns which will drive brand, reputation and commercial growth.
- Team Management; lead and motivate a full-time marketing communications team of 9 across campaigns, media, events, PR, Social and content.
- Lead our performance marketing and offline media strategies, collaborating with agencies and media owners to deliver innovative acquisition programmes and category-leading efficiency.
- Agency Management; be responsible for the direction, output, scope and performance of Media, Creative and PR agencies.
- Stakeholder Management; work collaboratively with stakeholders across the EU and Global businesses so they understand our positioning, answer the commercial objectives and effectively manage product launches and development.
- Press Office; structure and organise a world-class automotive and lifestyle press office across key-markets. Create and control crisis/reputational strategies that helps Zeekr navigate the challenges of a start-up EV company and communicate to senior leadership.
To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:
- Experienced Brand and Communications professional, with at least 10 years experience but hopefully much more.
- Experienced in working in automotive, tech start-up or multi-channel business.
- Experienced in campaign creation, social and digital marketing, PR, offline advertising.
- Ability to think strategically and commercially with broad experience across the communications mix and ideally a deep knowledge in brand management.
- Experienced in leading projects from start to finish and managing team productivity, workload and delivery.
- Extensive experience in coaching and develop individuals to reach their full potential using your deep experience to ensure they achieve their work and personal goals.
- Demonstrable experience of managing multi-country stakeholders and senior leadership effectively, challenging when necessary and upholding the reputation of marketing internally.
- A team player who is positive, hands on, fast and accurate and able to deliver excellence amidst tight timelines and changing circumstances.
- Articulate written, visual and verbal communicator, excellent copy accuracy and proofreading skills; fluency in English is essential, German/French desired.
