Strengthen this area at the earliest possible date as

IT specialist (f/m/d) Your tasks:
  • Further development and operation of database systems at Forschungszentrum Jülich
  • Project-related development of software systems in agile teams
  • Conception of new applications and workflows and their implementation
  • Close collaboration with the developers at RWTH Aachen University and the other Helmholtz centers
  • Planning, setting up and managing Windows and Linux systems, communication systems and software
Your profile:
  • Completed scientific university degree (Master's degree) in computer science or mathematics or comparable qualification
  • Experience in back-end and front-end development (full-stack web development)
  • Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, Vue.js, C#
  • Interest in virtualization solutions with containers is an advantage
  • Practical experience in software development projects, preferably in an open source environment
  • Ability to work cooperatively
  • Good command of written and spoken English

The position is initially limited to two years with the possibility of a longer-term perspective. Remuneration and social benefits depend on the qualifications and, depending on the tasks assigned, on the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD-Bund).
