(Senior) Innovation Consultant (Digital & Secure technologies)
About the jobAs a (Senior) Innovation Consultant, you will help our clients to achieve their goals in innovative projects within the Digital & Secure Technologies area. With your knowledge, you will be able to contribute to the growth of our team working on digital and secure technologies, advanced materials and manufacturing and advanced photonics. You will make the connection between the innovative ideas of our clients and the many funding possibilities available for the realization of their R&D projects. You will also be able to participate in EU-funded R&D projects with top partners, to ensure the impact of the R&D activities developed to the consecution of the strategic objectives of the EU.
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Business development: Identifying opportunities with partners in the value chain for the generation of new innovative projects. Expanding your network with potentially valuable partners.
- Writing EU grant proposals: Conceptualizing, visualizing, and refining project ideas to ensure high-quality proposals.
- Leading EU-funded projects: Overseeing projects from inception to the delivery of official deliverables, including project planning, market and stakeholder analysis, workshop organization, business plan formulation, and exploitation (and/or replication) strategy planning.
- Providing high-end innovation consulting services on a senior level, particularly for European Institutions, Technology Platforms, Sector Organizations, and large corporate clients.
- Keeping yourself updated on the most significant developments within your area of expertise and providing coaching to junior consultants in our team.

About youYou have the following background:
- You have at least three years (Consultant) or eight years (Senior Consultants) of professional working experience at relevant organizations. Previous experience in consultancy will be positively evaluated.
- Sound knowledge/proven experience on cloud, AI/ML and big data technologies and their implementations targeting security/cybersecurity, defence, telecom and digital transformation markets and applications.
- In-depth knowledge of European research funding programs, such as Horizon 2020/HEU, EDF, ESA, Digital Europe, etc.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken is required.

- We offer a competitive annual salary package, with a fixed salary and social benefits year and you are eligible for a bonus.
- 95% remote working. Presence is required for quarterly and team meetings (usually taking place in Barcelona, Madrid or Valencia). Travelling required for the attendance to project meetings and the participation in networking events.Involvement in international state-of-the-art projects at the European level, collaborating with renowned industries, universities, and research centers at both the national and global levels.
