At Insify we're looking for a hands-on Senior Product Manager to join our team and drive our product expansion across Europe.

Getting your car or mobile phone insured is pretty easy online. But insuring the risk you run with your company and with yourself (or your loved ones) as an entrepreneur is a real pain today for many entrepreneurs. Manual forms, forced coffee with advisors, endless (irrelevant) questions to fill, and hefty pricing… and once insured, what if your revenue goes up or you hire a team? Chance is, you won't be insured for that, but you'll only find out once you submit a claim.
We are a tech company at heart, building our own insurance platform. We extensively rely on data to figure out how to best get our customer’s & their companies insured. Combine that with our fully online portal, real attention to UX, and leading underwriting, then getting yourself and your business insured may just become a fun experience.
Insify is a well-funded company operating out of Amsterdam. Our team is led by seasoned entrepreneurs who have built successful businesses in fintech/e-commerce (SumUp, HelloFresh, Bloomon, Knab, etc.). We are fully licensed and backed by Europe’s largest insurers. Now it's all about turning the global $720bn insurance business upside down.
What you'll be doingAs a Senior Product Manager, you’ll be joining our product team to lead Insify’s new propositions and international expansion. Effectively, you’ll drive Insify’s vision of becoming the first European one-stop-shop optimizing digital journeys through constant experimentation, cracking product-market fit in new markets and innovating relentlessly to make sure that commercial insurance finally becomes simple, fast and fair. As one of the most senior on the team, you will be empowering team members across the organization to make the insurance revolution a reality
In particular, you will:
- Focus on Discovery to truly understand what is the right product to build for entrepreneurs. You go through the data, and conduct your own research to truly empathize with the problems that entrepreneurs face;
- Drive and collaborate with the Management Team on the vision, roadmap, and delivery of the next-generation insurances that will further enable the product-market fit of Insify across Europe;
- Identify strategically meaningful problems, as well as the ability to investigate opportunities for significant product launches/changes that are a business value driver;
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders in different roles and levels, clearly communicate strategic vision but also specific details. Great written and presentation abilities;
- Build & experiment as you truly obsess about customer needs, partner needs, and data. You are not only driving experimentation on the product itself but also on the Go-to-Market approaches, until you get to Product-Market-Fit;
- Empowering your fellow Insies across product engineering, data, design and growth to take products from concept to reality, solving real pain points for our customers;
- Define the KPIs for the products, and be the ultimate responsible for their successes.
You have seen your fair share of fintech products and you know how to deliver tech products within a regulated environment and under uncertainty. You have a strong focus on customers, Go-to-Market and Product-Market-Fit. You like to learn, experiment and innovate to solve real customer pain points. You don't stop until the job is done.
Specifically:
- Minimum of 7 years experience delivering successful and innovative products with your fingerprints all over them
- Proven track record of running discovery at scale and implementing rapid and impactful iterations. Ideally having built a product from scratch.
- Customer obsession. The ability to take on complex product challenges and find elegant solutions to simplify the life of entrepreneurs.
- Data-driven . You find a way to get the data you need and whip it into an insightful and captivating story easily. You know how to leverage this data to make decisions and to get the buy-in from all those around you
- A “Driver” mindset. You are strongly biased toward action, a great collaborator, a master disambiguator/simplifier, and constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery
- Attention to detail. The ability & curiosity to obsess over every single part of the insurance process
- Technical savviness. You are a builder who enjoys being in the weeds with the engineering teams and obsesses about customer needs and partner needs.
- Growth mindset. A never-ending desire to grow and learn, and tag along your team in that process
- Bonus points: If you are fluent in French as it represents the first large market to disrupt in Europe
