Perfetti van Melle in Breda is seeking enthusiastic operators to join the team responsible for preparing Mentos. As a Mentos operator, you play a vital role in our daily production operations, enabling millions of people worldwide to enjoy this popular candy. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Ensuring the smooth operation of your part of the preparation process;
  • Supporting fellow operators at the machines to ensure smooth operations across the entire department;
  • Independently addressing minor malfunctions or reporting them to the technical department (TD);
  • Performing replacement tasks as needed;
  • Identifying, reporting, and suggesting improvements for any deviations in the production process.

  • A full-time yearly contract with guaranteed hours;

  • A competitive salary starting at €3300 gross per month, which can increase to €3800 based on your knowledge and experience;

  • Ideally, you possess a technical background in the process industry, such as VAPRO A or B. Don't have the required diploma, but brimming with motivation? Your application is still warmly welcomed;
  • Previous experience as an operator or in a similar capacity, particularly within the food industry, is advantageous;
  • You are available for full-time employment and comfortable working in a 3-shift system;
  • Your ability to critically evaluate process improvements comes naturally to you.
