Job description For our client, we are looking for an HR Business Partner who speaks Dutch to set up the HR department and support their international growth. Would you like to work in the fashion industry? Building the human resources team to achieve our international growth ambitions? Working in a dynamic international work environment with passionate colleagues? 
As an HR Business Partner, you will be reporting to the CFO, and you will work together to enhance the organization's growth and professionalism. This role is responsible for the HR department and all recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding activities for our headquarters and stores. You will:
  • Develop and implement the HR and recruitment agenda based on the 3-year HR strategy plan.
  • Propagate and safeguard the company culture. 
  • Support the business growth strategy nationally and internationally.
  • Establishing, monitoring, and optimizing HR KPIs;
  • Working on projects, including employer branding, leadership development, performance management, and global harmonization
  • Support and advise management and team leads on our people processes, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, absenteeism, training, and development.
  • Optimize the HR department, HR processes, projects, and activities.
  • Develop a learning and development culture, including onboarding, management, and people development programs and events.
  • Oversee the HR, Office, and Facility departments.
  • Manage payroll for both national and international employees.
  • Monitor and improve employee satisfaction.
  • Manage sick leave, preventive, and support managers on complex sick leave cases.
Requirements We are looking for someone with a well-rounded foundation in human resources. The sort of person who will derive energy from developing fellow team leads, building the HR department, and executing improvement projects. You will ideally have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education
  • Minimum 5 years experience in HR, with retail experience being a plus.
  • Strong advisory skills
  • A helicopter view with a pragmatic, hands-on attitude
  • A decisive and optimistic mindset
  • Project management skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in the field
  • Excellent command of the Dutch (C2 level) and English language Working conditions
    • 32 or 38 hours per week available
