Hanwha Ocean Offshore Business is transitioning from a traditional shipbuilder to a global EPCIO (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Operation) solutions provider , offering cutting-edge solutions such as FPSO, FLNG, offshore renewables, and floating production units . With a strong market presence, we are expanding globally with new operations in Amsterdam, India, and Brazil to support our growth.

Our Amsterdam Global Project Center (GPC) is a critical hub where offshore engineering teams, particularly Topsides Engineering specialists , drive and execute complex projects. As we continue to scale, we seek a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our recruitment efforts in the region, with a primary focus on engineering roles for offshore projects .

Position Overview

The Talent Acquisition Manager will play a pivotal role in recruiting top engineering talent to support Hanwha Ocean's offshore business growth in Europe and beyond . This role will focus on strategic workforce planning, talent pipeline development, and full-cycle recruitment , particularly for EPCI engineering disciplines (e.g., Topsides Engineering, Naval Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering).

This position requires someone with deep industry knowledge in offshore business and oil and gas industry , strong leadership in talent acquisition strategy , and the ability to work across global teams in a fast-paced environment. The TA Manager will collaborate closely with hiring managers, HR teams in multiple regions, and senior business leaders to ensure Hanwha Ocean attracts the best engineering professionals in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Develop and execute proactive talent acquisition strategies to attract high-caliber engineering professionals.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and hiring managers to define current and future workforce needs.
  • Implement multichannel recruitment campaigns , leveraging industry networks, job boards, and professional associations.
  • Stay ahead of offshore industry trends to ensure talent strategy aligns with business objectives.

Recruitment Execution & Talent Sourcing

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process , from sourcing and interviewing to selection and offer negotiations.
  • Source candidates through direct outreach, LinkedIn Recruiter, headhunting, and referrals .
  • Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for critical engineering roles, ensuring readiness for future hiring needs.
  • Drive diversity and inclusion efforts to build a more inclusive workforce.

Stakeholder & Regional Collaboration

  • Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers in Amsterdam, Houston, South Korea, India, and Brazil , aligning hiring plans with business needs.
  • Coordinate with regional TA teams (Korea, U.S., Brazil, and India) to ensure consistency in recruitment best practices.
  • Partner with external recruitment agencies, universities, and professional organizations to strengthen talent pipelines.

Employer Branding & Market Intelligence

  • Enhance Hanwha Ocean's employer brand within the offshore business and oil and gas industry.
  • Utilize data analytics and market insights to inform hiring decisions and improve recruiting efficiency.
  • Benchmark external employment data to ensure competitive compensation and talent attraction strategies.

Performance & Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Develop recruitment metrics and reports to track hiring performance, time-to-fill, and quality of hire.
  • Utilize HR analytics and talent insights to drive recruitment strategies and optimize hiring outcomes.
  • Maintain an up-to-date candidate tracking system (ATS) for visibility and efficiency in recruitment operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably within the offshore, energy, or EPCI industries .
  • Strong knowledge of engineering recruitment , particularly for FPSO, FLNG, and Topsides Engineering roles .
  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end recruitment across multiple regions .
  • Expertise in headhunting, executive search, and passive candidate sourcing .
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to partner with senior business leaders.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and HR analytics tools .
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multinational environment .
  • Fluency in English is required ; additional language skills in Dutch or Korean are a plus.
