We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Project Coordinator (voluntary basis) to join the LWEI team and contribute to the success of our school and broader educational initiatives. This full-time, on-site role will require a presence at the school from Monday to Friday, actively engaging in day-to-day activities and supporting various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • School Operations Support: Be an active participant in the school’s daily activities and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Alumni Network Development: Build and maintain a vibrant alumni network to strengthen community ties and to better understand our impact post-graduation
  • New Building Management: Assist in planning and overseeing the management of the school’s new building project.
  • Fundraising Initiatives: Develop and implement strategies to enhance local fundraising efforts.
  • Website Refresh: Lead the redesign and updating of the school’s website to improve its functionality and reflect current initiatives.
  • Educational Management: Reestablish effective systems for education management and goal tracking to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Role Development: Further develop the Project Coordinator role, including updating the ProCo documentation to reflect current and future responsibilities.
  • Board Collaboration: Share monthly updates with the LWF Board, providing insights and progress reports on ongoing projects.
  • Flexible Contributions: Engage in other activities aligned with your skills and interests. Potential tasks may include teaching English courses or preparing for classes as needed.

Main Activities:

  • Be present at the school Mon-Fri and proactively contribute to the day-to-day activities. 
  • Further develop an alumni network 
  • Contribute to the planning and management of the new school building
  • Further develop local fundraising
  • Refresh LWEI website
  • Reestablish education management and goal tracking
  • Continue to develop the project coordinator role, including updating ProCo document.
  • Share monthly updates with LWF Board
  • Other activities to de decided in collaboration with selected candidate based on interest and skills
  • If needed/desired: teaching English courses

Qualifications:

  • C1/C2 level of English, speaking Dutch is a plus but not a requirement
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Experience in education, fundraising, or nonprofit settings is preferred. Interest in development aid is a plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and intercultural abilities
  • Adaptable and self-motivated with a collaborative mindset
  • Important to note: you do not have to be enrolled in university in order to qualify for this position
