We're hiring an Operational Risk & Control Analyst to help embed robust risk, control, and governance practices into the daily operations of a fast-growing, regulated financial services organisation. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role at the heart of operational resilience. You'll work closely with compliance, operations, and technology teams to ensure ongoing alignment with DORA and MiCAR, while helping the business scale with confidence. Your Role You'll help maintain and strengthen the operational governance framework that underpins regulatory compliance. This includes ownership of risk registers, policy and procedure documentation, information registers, and IT control tracking. The work is structured, mission-critical, and visible ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, accountability, and follow-through, and who wants to grow into a trusted expert within a scaling organisation. What You'll Be Doing Maintain and update the risk register, following up on control actions Own the policy & procedure framework (version control, reviews, governance logs) Maintain a DORA-compliant information register Track and document IT backups, working closely with technical teams Ensure risk controls are clearly documented and adopted across teams Support MiCAR and DORA implementation and reporting Update documentation as operational or technical processes change Keep records audit-ready and support regulatory reviews Act as a confident point of follow-up with stakeholders across the business What Success Looks Like Risk, control, and governance processes are embedded and consistently applied The organisation remains fully DORA- and MiCAR-compliant Registers, policies, and documentation are always up to date and audit-ready Teams clearly understand their responsibilities because of your clarity and consistency You're trusted by senior stakeholders and regularly engaged by Compliance and leadership You've grown into a core pillar of operational resilience xfgnyzt What You Bring 2–6 years' experience in a regulated environment (fintech, financial services, healthcare, etc.) Highly organised, disciplined, and detail-oriented working style Confident, assertive communicator who follows up effectively Experience with or exposure to DORA and/or MiCAR (strong plus) Strong sense of ownership and integrity Excellent writing and documentation skills Comfortable working in a scale-up environment with evolving priorities What's On Offer Hybrid working (with strong value placed on in-person collaboration)25 vacation days Salary based on experience.
