We are looking for a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team and provide exceptional IT user support while managing critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting Microsoft Office 365, Azure AD user management, IT asset management, and server virtualization environments (Nutanix and VMware). This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and supporting end-users in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Provide first-line and escalated support for Microsoft Office 365 applications, including troubleshooting issues and assisting with user queries.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and groups in Azure Active Directory.
Ensure timely resolution of IT support tickets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
IT Asset Management
Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software.
Oversee the lifecycle of IT assets (procurement, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning).
Server Virtualization Management
Manage and maintain server virtualization platforms such as Nutanix and VMware.
Perform capacity planning, performance optimization, and resource allocation for virtualized environments.
Ensure high availability of virtualized servers through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and disaster recovery planning.
Monitor the health of IT systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
Apply patches, updates, and upgrades to servers, virtualization platforms, and other IT systems as needed.
Collaborate with other IT teams to implement new technologies or improve existing systems.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
~3+ years of experience in IT support or system administration roles.
~ Fluency in English. A good knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus.

Proficiency in managing Microsoft Office 365 applications and Azure Active Directory.
Strong understanding of IT asset management processes and tools.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a dynamic engineering environment.
