Projectomschrijving: Cloud Transformatie & Modernisering van Legacy Systemen:

Jij bent verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen en implementeren van strategieën die legacy-systemen moderniseren en cloudmigraties mogelijk maken. De focus ligt op het omvormen van monolithische applicaties naar microservices, en het faciliteren van een soepele integratie tussen oude en nieuwe systemen via API-management.

Je krijgt de kans om hands-on te werken met DevOps-praktijken, waaronder CI/CD-pijplijnen, automatisering, en het gebruik van Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools zoals Bicep, Terraform, Heat, en CloudFormation.

Hiermee bouw je moderne, schaalbare omgevingen en bevorder je de efficiëntie van het platform. Daarnaast monitor je de prestaties van gemoderniseerde systemen met behulp van observability tools.

In dit project ga je aan de slag met containerorchestratie (denk aan Kubernetes, OpenShift en Rancher), om een stabiele en schaalbare infrastructuur te waarborgen. Je hebt kennis van beveiligingsuitdagingen en de beste praktijken bij de transitie van legacy-systemen naar de cloud.

Ook maak je gebruik van AIOps om processen verder te automatiseren.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Strategieën ontwerpen voor de modernisering van legacy-systemen en cloudmigratie.
  • Monolithische applicaties herontwerpen naar microservices.
  • API-integratie en -beheer voor een soepele communicatie tussen systemen.
  • Werken met DevOps-praktijken en CI/CD-pijplijnen.
  • IaC-tools zoals Terraform en Bicep gebruiken voor moderne cloudomgevingen.
  • Prestaties van systemen verbeteren met observability tools.
  • Containerorchestratie beheren met Kubernetes en OpenShift.
  • Beveiligingsuitdagingen in cloudmigraties aanpakken.
  • AIOps en low-code/no-code platforms inzetten voor efficiënte automatisering.
  • Business process re-engineering toepassen voor een succesvolle technische transformatie.
