We zijn wereldwijd actief en hebben een bijzonder breed assortiment met verschillende merken en private label producten. Denk hierbij aan wasmiddelen, bad/douche producten, geuren, make up, schoonmaakmiddelen, haarproducten en sinds vorig jaar ook Food.

We functioneren als handelshuis voor een groot aantal bekende A-merken en we ontwikkelen onze eigen merken, private labels en onder licentie.

In totaal zijn wij binnen Europa met 325 collega's, waarvan ruim 275 collega's in Nederland, verdeeld over ons logistiek centrum in Kolham (Groningen) en ons hoofdkantoor in Oud-Beijerland. Onze regiokantoren zijn in Duitsland, Frankrijk, Spanje, Italië en Zweden.

DOEL VAN DE FUNCTIE

Als Director Brand, Private Label en Licences ben je verantwoordelijk voor zowel de operationele aansturing van de afdeling, als de strategische ontwikkeling van productcollecties.

Je geeft leiding aan een team van circa 40 medewerkers, bestaande uit creatieve, projectmatige en operationele professionals, zoals sales, purchase en logistiek. Samen met je team zorg je voor de vertaling van creatieve ideeën naar commerciële successen en bewaak je de kwaliteit, doorlooptijden en kosten van de producten die door externe productiepartners worden gerealiseerd.

Je bent de schakel tussen strategie en uitvoering: je zet een heldere visie uit, die aansluit bij de bedrijfsstrategie en zorgt ervoor dat deze naadloos wordt doorgevoerd in de operationele processen. Zo zorg je voor een duurzame groei van de afdeling.

Je bent lid van het MT en rapporteert aan de CEO en Commercieel Directeur.

JOUW ROL

Strategisch

  • Ontwikkelen en implementeren van de strategie voor de eigen brands en licenties van Home Care & Personal Care, gericht op productinnovatie en groei.
  • Creëren van een onderscheidend productportfolio dat aansluit bij marktontwikkelingen.
  • Zorgdragen voor een optimale balans tussen creativiteit en commercie, waarbij je marges en omzetdoelen scherp bewaakt.
  • Opbouwen en onderhouden van relaties met belangrijke interne en externe stakeholders.

Operationele verantwoordelijkheden

  • Eindverantwoordelijk voor het volledige traject van productontwikkeling; van creatief concept tot eindproduct.
  • Monitoren van doorlooptijden, productiekwaliteit en kostenbeheersing in samenwerking met externe productiepartners.
  • Optimaliseren van processen en structuren binnen de afdeling en het gehele bedrijf om efficiëntie te verhogen en de 'time-to-market' te verkorten.
  • Fungeren als opdrachtgever richting externe partners en zorgen dat de creatieve visie consistent wordt vertaald naar het eindproduct.

Leiderschap en Teamontwikkeling

  • Aansturen, motiveren en ontwikkelen van een team van circa 40 professionals, met focus op samenwerking, innovatie en prestatieverbetering.
  • Creëren van een cultuur waarin creativiteit, verantwoordelijkheid en resultaatgerichtheid hand in hand gaan.
  • Signaleren van ontwikkelbehoeften binnen het team en zorg dragen voor gerichte coaching en opleiding.

Commercieel management

  • Verantwoordelijk voor het behalen van een omzet conform budget en het optimaliseren van de winstgevendheid.
  • Opstellen van jaarlijkse budgetten en commerciële plannen en deze vertalen naar concrete acties voor het team.
  • Nauwe samenwerking met sales- en marketingteams om producten succesvol in de markt te zetten.
  • Continu monitoren van de markt en concurrerende producten om commerciële kansen te benutten.

HERKEN JIJ JEZELF HIERIN?

Opleiding en Ervaring

  • HBO/WO werk- en denkniveau, met voorkeur voor bijvoorbeeld een achtergrond in Business Development, Product Management.
  • Minimaal 10 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare rol binnen productontwikkeling of productie, met ervaring in het aansturen van multidisciplinaire teams.
  • Ervaring met complexe productieprocessen, met productie bij externe partners.
  • Bewezen trackrecord in het realiseren van commerciële doelstellingen.

Competenties en Vaardigheden

  • Strategisch én operationeel leiderschap: Sterk in het combineren van visie met concrete acties en het verbinden van strategische doelen met dagelijkse operationele uitvoering.
  • People manager: Inspirerend leider die teams weet te ontwikkelen en mee te nemen in veranderingen.
  • Creativiteit en commercieel inzicht: In staat om innovatieve concepten te vertalen naar succesvolle producten met commercieel rendement.
  • Sterk in stakeholdermanagement: Ervaren in het onderhouden van relaties met zowel interne afdelingen als externe leveranciers.
  • Project- en procesmanagement: Gestructureerd, resultaatgericht en sterk in het bewaken van deadlines en budgetten.
