Procurement Contract Manager - Operational Technology Focus

Evos is a leading liquid energy and chemical storage company. About the procurement team: The Procurement team at Evos is dedicated to ensuring seamless operations at all terminals by consistently securing top-tier products and services at the most favorable prices. The procurement team consists of nine experienced and entrepreneurial colleagues, who are together responsible for managing the relations with our suppliers and driving procurement excellence in our terminals as well as contributing to Evos Group. The procurement team reports to the Head of Procurement, who is based in the Netherlands.

The Procurement Specialist oversees the procurement process and manages contracts with suppliers, vendors, and service providers. While the primary focus is on Operational Technology (OT), this role also extends to other procurement areas as needed.
The Procurement Specialist ensures that all procurement activities are conducted efficiently, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The Procurement Specialist will also develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to meet the organization's strategic objectives.

Supplier Management : Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers specializing in operational technology solutions, industrial software, automation systems, and maintenance services. Build and maintain strong relationships with key technology partners to secure favorable terms and ensure reliable delivery of critical OT components and services. Monitor supplier performance and proactively address any quality, compliance, or delivery issues.
Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for OT-related procurement, including SCADA systems, cybersecurity services, control systems, and cloud-based industrial solutions. Ensure that contracts meet legal, regulatory, and cybersecurity standards while aligning with the organization's long-term digitalization and operational strategies. Manage contract renewals, amendments, and vendor performance to maximize value.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the procurement process and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure all procurement activities are compliant with relevant laws and regulations. Monitor and report on procurement risks, implementing corrective actions as needed. Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to reduce procurement costs. Conduct cost-benefit analysis to ensure value for money in all procurement activities.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with engineering, IT, operations, and HSSEQ teams to understand OT procurement needs and align procurement strategies with industrial automation, digital transformation, and cybersecurity priorities. Act as the primary contact for OT procurement-related inquiries, ensuring timely delivery and integration of technology solutions.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, engineer or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, contract management, or a related role.
Technical knowledge of OT and relevant experience with OT procurement in an industrial area.
Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and preferable Dutch.
