Senior Sales Relationship Manager

For our client we are looking for a Senior Relationship Manager (SRM).
- Play a pivotal role in fostering and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Use knowledge in Foreign Exchange and International Payments to drive customer satisfaction, loyalty, and revenue growth.
- Work closely with clients to: Understand their needs, provide the right solutions, add value, ensure the highest standards of service.
- Coach and mentor a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) — supporting the company's culture of continuous learning. Be a role model for both your team and the wider Sales team by sharing knowledge and experience to develop their skills.
- Leverage industry knowledge and strategic insight to contribute to revenue growth and the company's success.
- Help articulate and deliver the company's ambitious 5-year plan — shaping and delivering the growth of this international payments business.

Objectives of the Role:
- Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with key clients to drive sales and achieve revenue targets. Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Product Knowledge: Hands-on experience in Foreign Exchange and International Payments and hedging . Be an expert in these processes and confident when managing international transactions. Provide clients with informed solutions to minimize the impact of currency fluctuations.
- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth individually and within the team. Leverage industry knowledge, strategic sales techniques, and leadership skills. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand the client base and increase market share.
- Leadership & Inspiration: Effectively coach and mentor team members. Inspire and motivate the team to achieve their best performance in a competitive market. Serve as a role model and embody the company's principles.
- Continuous Learning & Improvement: Advocate for ongoing training. Stay updated on and share the latest industry trends. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Best Practice: Promote best practices and ensure alignment with industry standards. Foster a collaborative work environment. Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and company policies.
- Marketing: Collaborate with the Marketing team to align strategies that support client acquisition and retention. Provide client feedback to shape marketing campaigns and materials.
- CRM & Reporting: Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to keep client information accurate and updated. Track sales activities and generate reports on sales performance, client interactions, and market trends. Use these insights to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in a senior sales role within Foreign Exchange , International Payments , and hedging .
- A growth mindset with resilience, drive, and ambition.
- A natural thought leader passionate about coaching and mentoring others.
- Confidence to challenge senior management by thinking from the client lens .
- Ability to work at a fast pace and keep up with company momentum.
- Accountability — for yourself and those around you.
