AFAS Implementation – ERP Project Management – Stakeholder Management

Location: The Randstad, South Holland, Netherlands (Hybrid)

Contract Type: Freelance, 12months

Are you a senior Project Manager with extensive experience leading large-scale AFAS implementations? Do you have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive ERP transformation projects?

We are looking for an AFAS Project Manager to support a major ERP implementation within the public sector, ensuring a smooth transition, process alignment, and successful system deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end AFAS implementation within a complex organizational environment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to align project goals, expectations, and deliverables.
  • Oversee system configuration, testing, and deployment, ensuring smooth integration into existing processes.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges, ensuring adherence to timelines and objectives.
  • Facilitate change management and user adoption, ensuring a seamless transition.

Skills & Experience:

  • Senior-level experience in AFAS, with a proven track record of leading at least one full-scale AFAS implementation.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in large ERP projects is a strong advantage.
  • Public sector experience (preferred) – ability to navigate structured, process-driven environments.
  • Fluency in Dutch is mandatory.
