**Job content**:
As Crop Management Director, you will be responsible for product leadership, including strategic positioning of our products. You ensure that market and consumer trends and customer needs are translated into new and existing Product Market Combinations (PMCs) with a consistent planning and approach.

The Crop Management Director closely collaborates with other board members to develop long-term plans and collectively provide direction and oversight to key business processes, with market demand and crop decisions being specific areas of focus and responsibility.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with fellow board members to shape vision and strategy, with a focus on Crop Management and business development. This includes developing multi-year plans to achieve objectives.
- Ensure successful implementation of the strategy by integrating with organizational goals, including effective financial planning, budget management, and setting goals.
- Foster stakeholder interaction and provide input to translate Product-Market Combinations into cultivation plans, including investment decisions. Identify risks and take proactive action.
- Align processes and projects, with Crop Management at the forefront, to enhance team performance and promote collaboration.
- Provide strong leadership by supporting, coaching, and guiding the organization and direct reports, with attention to company values, culture, and an inclusive work environment.
- Inspire and motivate others towards a common goal, leading by example.
- Stay informed about trends and technological developments to stay ahead of the competition, and advise the board on strategic decisions regarding crops and product forms.
- Develop, maintain, and leverage a relevant network of stakeholders, both internally and externally, and represent the organization convincingly outwardly.

**Job Requirements**:
We are seeking a driven Crop Management Director who can take the lead in our Crop Management departments and represent Bejo internationally. In this role you are responsible for product leadership, including strategic positioning of products. To ensure that market and consumer trends and customer needs are translated into new and existing Product Market Combinations (PMCs) with a solid and consistent planning and approach.
- A proven track record at university level (master's degree) with an agricultural background.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar executive role or extensive leadership experience of more than 10 years within the specific specialization and international environment.
- International experience within the agricultural or food industry.
- Excellent command of both English and Dutch languages is desired, or willingness to learn.
- Inspirational leadership style with a proven ability to motivate, coach, and guide others.
- Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate vision into action and achieve results.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
