Region Crop Manager

The Sales department is responsible for the worldwide sale of and advice on vegetable seeds within various sales regions. Due to internal promotions, vacancies have arisen in several regions for a motivated;

**Job content**:
In the role of Region Crop Manager East-Asia, you are primarily responsible for managing the assortment to make the sales of our vegetable seeds possible in **China, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea**. For assortment management, you are part of the region's product development team and act as the link between the market and the Bejo organization, particularly the crop teams. You participate in various teams, provide input for the direction of the breeding programs, and ensure that potential new varieties are properly introduced to the market.

You are in direct contact with the Bejo affiliates and partners in the region. Together, you decide on the product portfolio for the country and set up a trial and introduction program for new products. You support the marketing and promotion of the assortment.

A good knowledge of local cultivation techniques and supporting our partners and customers in the region are important to maintain and strengthen our position.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor in agriculture or related education.
- You have demonstrable cultivation-technical knowledge.
- You are an enterprising team player, bridge builder and confident in a steering role.
- You have good communication skills and are particularly good at listening and analyzing.
- A good command of English and preferably another relevant language.
- You are prepared to make several international trips per year (25% of your time).
- You (are open to) live in The Netherlands or nearby one of our Bejo offices in East-Asia
