**Regional Crop Lead Northern Europe**

**What does the team look like**
The newly developed Regional Marketing Team is pivotal in assuring that Koppert’s marketing initiatives are as closely connected to the customer as possible. The Crop Lead Northern Europe will fit within the regional marketing team, reporting to the Marketing Manager Northern Europe. In addition to the marketing manager and the Crop Lead, the regional marketing team consists of Product Leads, Communication Lead and Regulatory Affairs Lead. The Crop Lead Northern Europe has a functional connection to the Global Crop Leadership team at corporate and the key stakeholders in the country. In addition there is connection with the crop leadership in the other four regions.
**About the job**
The Crop Lead Northern Europe will define opportunities in key regional and global crops based on gathered information from the countries and use this input for strategy development. Based on this information he/she will create new product development, new business opportunities or improvement proposals. Building and maintaining relationships, both with internal and external stakeholders is key, assuring commitment for strategy and proposals. The Crop Lead Northern Europe actively shares knowledge and experience about improving market potential and has a thrive to meet customer needs and experiences.
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**
**Data collection and presentation**
- Collect data and insights from the countries and customers and based on this develop proposals for research new product, or new business development;
- Assure sound market data and segmentation variables for both direct customers as end users of our products and, based on this propose improvements;
- Assure dashboards are sufficiently populated for global and assure development of regional dashboard for market insights.
**Vision Development**
- Develop insight on challenges and priorities in the region, based on a consultative process with key country representatives and customers, resulting in strategic plans;
- Develop Crop visions and marketing plan for the region and contribute to the business plan and portfolio analysis, region fitting within VTO and global vision and insights, based on tools, template, process and definitions as provided;
- Give suggestions for dipstick or deep dive research and global strategy development.
**Strategy Implementation;**
- Assure priorities set in demo trials together with the local market development manager and general managers assuring efficiency and coordination over the different countries;
- Translate vision and insights into concrete business cases and priority of those business cases for the region;
- connect changing market requirements during the development process of new products together with key stakeholders in the region.

- Ability to plan and organize independently and effectively with mínimal supervision while meeting performance metrics;

- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and software;
- Strong project management skills.
**Skills and Knowledge**:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience with proven success creating and implementing marketing strategies;
- Experience in agriculture, horticulture, or farming industries is preferred;
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution;
- Proficient;
- Proficiency in English both written and verbal is required; fluency in Dutch German or Polish is considered a plus.
