The Centre of Excellence (CoE) is part of the EMEA Marketing department and responsible for maintaining the visual identity and brand reputation of Dyson in your market. We work collaboratively with local Dyson teams (Marketing, PR, Direct, Sales Teams ) to deliver seamless consumer experiences that instill an understanding of and confidence in the products performance, distinct commercial benefits to the business and ultimately brand advocacy and loyalty.
**About the role**:
We seek a designer to actualize our direct propositions across our digital channels and establish our presence in various environments. Reporting to the CoE Creative Director, you’ll collaborate closely with EMEA CoE and Group Creative teams to craft engaging experiences aligned with Dyson’s UX principles and brand guidelines.
As a Dyson brand guardian, you’ll ensure adherence to brand principles while delivering designs across digital channels. Working alongside senior team members, you’ll enhance shopper and owner journeys, ensuring pixel-perfect, user-friendly designs rooted in Dyson values and current UX principles.
You’ll collaborate across functions to maintain consistency in campaign executions and drive enhancements.
Responsibilities Include
- Ensure all work is aligned to Dyson values and follows guidelines
- Create, adapt and artwork existing 2D and 3D templates to support local marketing activity
- Art working of co-branded / retailer specific materials
- Work with creative team to brainstorm and share ideas
- Keep abreast of the media landscape, exploring tech advances, connected products, social trends etc.
- Continuous development of technical design abilities
**About you**:
- 4-5 years of experience in integrated design teams
- Understanding of digital creative integration across various media channels for holistic customer experiences
- Proficient in designing responsive digital content for multiple devices
- Experience with DOOH design and delivery
- Proficiency in print design and artworking
- Familiarity with platform requirements and information architecture
- Strong eye for detail, layout, and typography
- Organized with excellent time management skills
- Collaborative mindset with a drive to explore innovative ideas
- 3+ years of relevant experience in agency or in-house design
- Impressive portfolio showcasing digital expertise and attention to detail
- Skilled in creating responsive, mobile-first designs and prototypes
- Proficient in tools like Sketch, Figma, Axure, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InVision
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles
- Effective communicator with stakeholder management skills
- Basic knowledge of front-end development languages: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Proficient in various digital communication platforms and specifications
- Versatility in digital and print OOH design, press design, PoS design, and brand identity
- Capable of logo creation and mastering templates
- Competent in imagery briefing and retouching for digital and print mediums
- Skilled in clipping paths and basic retouching techniques
