Within the rapidly growing German subsidiary CITEL GMBH (24million euros sales, 25 employees), the Sales Department is one of the pillars of its development.
**THE FUNCTION**
Based in Germany or in Northern Europe, we are searching our **Export Area Manager** within Scandinavia and the Netherlands (full-time permanent contract) attached to the General Manager with the main responsibility of
**THE MISSIONS**
This responsibility actually covers several missions:
- You are responsible for the development and expansion of the sales partner network within Scandinavia and the Netherlands. You will support, manage and deepen relationships with international sales partners
- You are the competent contact person for all customer projects
- You will be responsible for implementing market development strategies with the aim of establishing long-term sales partner relationships
- You analyse market and industry trends as well as competitive activities
- You plan and operate regular sales measures and maintain your network with existing strategic partners
- You actively represent the company at trade fairs and regional customer events
- Your responsibilities also include constant and close cooperation with the business and sales management
**THE PROFILE**
- Qualified technical Education or commercial Education with good basic electrical knowledge
- Ideally, you have a good technical understanding and/or initial professional experience in international sales in co-operation with electrical distributors, key accounts from the electrical industry and electrical wholesalers
- Strong customer orientation as well as an independent and goal-orientated way of working
- Intercultural competence, good interpersonal and negotiating skills
- Business fluent in English and German, other foreign languages such as Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish or Dutch would be desirable
- A moderate willingness to travel (about 30%)
- The position should be based ideally close to Bochum, Germany but can be somewhere else in Northern Europe
