**Role Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct research on the latest technologies and methodologies in NLP, LLMs, and multimodal LLMs to drive innovation within the team and push the boundaries of what is possible.
- Lead and significantly contribute to one or more technical areas of research in NLP to deliver high quality solutions for our customers.
- Maintain a high profile both internally and externally, sharing knowledge and findings through conferences, workshops, publications, and open-source contributions.
- Cultivate partnerships with other research teams to create synergistic technologies that enhance overall product experiences.
- Continuously monitor advancements in AI, LLM, NLP, and related fields to ensure the team remains at the cutting edge.

**Qualifications**:

- Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Linguistics, or a closely related field. A Ph.D. is preferred, but a Master's degree or equivalent experience combined with significant research experience will be considered.
- Solid understanding of machine learning and NLP algorithms, neural model architecture, LLMs, training techniques, and building performant inference pipelines to tackle complex problems. Having experience with Multimodal Models is a plus.
- Proven experience in leading substantial research projects with tangible outcomes in the form of products, services, or influential research publications.
- Strong publication record in top-tier ML or NLP conferences (e.g., ACL, NeurIPS, EMNLP, ICML) is highly regarded.
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, and versatility in programming, with strong skills in Python and/or C/C++
- Tight-knit collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work optimally in a multidisciplinary team and influence outcomes.
- Analytical problem solver with excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Previous experience mentoring junior researchers or engineers, guiding them in their development and research projects.
