The successful candidate will work with our dynamic team of researchers, contributing to cutting-edge research that addresses critical issues in housing markets. Our project aims to evaluate policies regarding public housing, urban renewal, and rental regulation using reduced form and quantitative equilibrium models.
The postdoc will collaborate with PhD students and professors within the Department, focusing on the same topic. Responsibilities include conducting original research on housing affordability and urban economics, developing and applying spatial quantitative models to analyze housing markets and policy interventions, and collaborating with our team to contribute to academic publications and policy reports.
Key qualifications for this position include a PhD in Economics, strong background in quantitative research, micro-economics, and applied econometrics, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
