Do you want to use your expertise in a fast-paced and ambitious environment? For warehouse in Venray we are looking for a senior Operations Manager with a passion for Logistics & Supply Chain.
**What does your day look like as an Operations Manager**
- You will maintain the day-to-day operational focus and lead the operational team on daily basis
- You will work in the warehouse according to the LEAN philosophy and take charge of operational implementations, evaluations & budgets
- You will be coaching and mentoring your team, managing situations where a consensus needs to be found
- You will be responsible for a safe working environment
- You will be the primary contact person for your customers, managing expectations/statistics, implementing and delivering on KPIs and productivity targets.
- You will be involved in forecasting and budgeting for your accounts
- You will report to the Site Manager
**What do you need to be successful**
- Master's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent through experience
- At least 5-10 years of experience in a warehouse environment and the necessary maturity
- Good financial and business acumen
- Ability to work in a multi-client, multi-team environment
- Lean background
- Problem solving thinking
- Knowledge of WMS systems
- You have experience in/with a 3PL organization
- Languages: Fluent English on a business level. Dutch is a pre
