The team

The Global Equity team, based in Rotterdam and Zurich, is a very experienced team with a strong track record in Global Equity investing. The team consists of eight highly skilled investment professionals who all focus on a specific area of the market. In light of the team’s aspirations to expand the business over the coming years we are searching for an experienced Portfolio Manager / Analyst with a strong track record.

Position & Requirements

Your role

As Portfolio Manager / Analyst in the Global Equity team, you will be working closely together with the other team members. You have a strong background in Tech+ sectors. In this role you will:

- be responsible for covering a particular focus area (sector) while putting this in the perspective of the aggregate portfolio positioning.
- maintain a network of relevant institutions by attending conferences and visiting promising companies.
- examine financial statements and research reports, meet with senior management of listed companies, and build/maintain financial models to assess the fair value of specific stocks.
- produce written research to support investment recommendations.
- participate in meetings of the Fundamental Investing teams and work closely together with other parts of the Robeco organization.
- contribute to the Fundamental Equity Market Outlook publication on a quarterly basis.
- interact with (potential) clients about the strategy’s performance, market developments and the economic environment in view of long-term secular and sustainability trends.

**Requirements**:

- A Master’s degree with good results, in business administration, accounting; finance, economics; econometrics, mathematics and/or a technical field.
- Around 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in fund management and/or equity research.
- The ability to form an unconstrained view based on available information.
- Strong financial skills including understanding of financial statements and financial modelling.
- Strong reasoning skills including business, sector and ESG diagnosis.
- A structured working approach.
- An investment style that is centered around quality and valuation discipline.
- A clear and open communication style and a constructive attitude.
- Self-motivated with ability to work unconstrained.
- A passion for equity investing.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
