The Head of Market Access and Digital Solutions - Kidney Care will be responsible for global Market Access, Reimbursement and Policy strategies for the Vantive digital ecosystem supporting the PD journey:
- Creates Market Access strategies (including policy, reimbursement and HTA) for all focus geographies and executes in collaboration with local teams
- Input into strategic and business planning activities for digital solutions
- Represents the voice of non-clinical stakeholders, establishes the access and evidence requirements for successful new product development and introduction, collaborates closely with R&D, Upstream Marketing and Medical Affairs
This position reports directly to VP Global Health Economics, Market Access and Reimbursement and will work in close collaboration with multiple internal partners and stakeholders, including, but not limited to, the global and regional access teams, global and regional Marketing teams and Sales leadership, Medical Affairs and R&D.
**POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead global Market Access Strategy (including policy, reimbursement and HTA) for the Vantive digital ecosystem supporting the PD journey
- Execute strategies in focus geographies in collaboration with regional teams
- Responsibility for economic evidence generation and dissemination to payers and providers including building capability across the commercial (evidence-based selling) and Medical Affairs organization
- Strategic partner for New Product Development (R&D) value proposition: Non-clinical stakeholder dimension, value-based pricing, target product profile (TPP)
**FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES**
**MARKET ACCESS ASSESSMENT & STRATEGY - Leader**
- Strong understanding of healthcare environment globally (including reimbursement, policy and HTA)
- Develop strategies for market access and adoption in focus geographies
- Provide inputs to relevant new product development, life-cycle optimization, licensing & acquisition
- Support execution of commercial strategies with global/regional/country commercial partners
- Understand commercial financial information related to the business, KPIs and financial forecasting metrics and trends impacted by market access, funding and reimbursement
**STRATEGIC THINKING and INNOVATION- Expert**
- Working with cross-functional teams to develop a clear set of goals and plans.
- Understand and shape innovation strategy to optimize value, access and adoption
- Assess, shape and plan for quantifying potential value propositions and TPPs for NPD to optimize market access and adoption
- Integration of value-based thinking and market access requirements into strategies, TPPs and Evidence Generation Strategies (EGS)
**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
- Proven experience of market access in digital therapies
- Experience of at least 2 out of the following: Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Health Technology Assessment, Market Access, Real World Evidence
- International experience, leading various markets or regions is highly preferred. (Has worked or supported in at least two different markets, one of them being the US)
- Minimum of 10 years in space of Health Economics and Market Access
**EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
- Advanced degree (MS, MPH, PhD) in health economics, HTA and or Statistics
