Wij zijn op zoek naar een Financial Risk Manager | Responsible Investments voor APG Asset Management.

**Functieomschrijving**

Deze rol is vacant binnen het team Investment Risk Management - Responsible Investments (IRM RI), gevestigd in het kantoor in Amsterdam. Het team heeft een breed scala aan verantwoordelijkheden die ervoor zorgen dat duurzaamheidsrisico's binnen het besluitvormings
- en beheerproces op het gebied van beleggingen voor onze klanten onafhankelijk en adequaat worden geïdentificeerd, beoordeeld en gemonitord. Jij kunt als Risk Manager in het IRM RI-team het verschil maken door bij te dragen aan het relatief nieuwe, maar enorm groeiende en zich ontwikkelende domein van duurzaamheidsrisicobeheer.

Als Financial Risk Manager kom je te werken op de afdeling Investment Risk Management (IRM) van APG Vermogensbeheer. Als tweedelijnsafdeling risicobeheer is IRM betrokken bij elke stap van het investeringsbeslissingsproces, beginnend bij ALM en Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) tot individuele activaklassen, fondsen, portefeuilles en activalijnen. Het brede pakket aan verantwoordelijkheden en activiteiten binnen CFRO/IRM is geclusterd in vier teams: Asset Class Risk Management, Client Risk and Performance Management, Responsible Investments Risk Management team en Risk Analytics. CFRO/IRM onderscheidt zich door zijn modus operandi, die regionaal agnostisch is, wat de effectiviteit, efficiëntie, kwaliteit en mate van standaardisatie optimaliseert.

Je komt te werken in Amsterdam op ons kantoor aan Amsterdam Sloterdijk, met de mogelijkheid om een deel van de week vanuit huis te werken.

**Dit ga je doen**

Naast het uitvoeren van de dagelijkse activiteiten op het gebied van risicomonitoring en risicobeheer (inclusief risicotoezicht), bestaan uw belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden uit:

- Verdere ontwikkeling van de tweedelijnsrisicobeheerfunctie met focus op duurzaamheids(risico)aspecten van onze beleggingen;
- Onderzoeken/ontwikkelen en operationaliseren van duurzaamheidsrisicokader en -instrumenten;
- Bijdragen aan de ontwikkeling en implementatie van de digitaliseringsvisie binnen het team;
Verbetering van datastromen, visualisaties (zoals tabellen en grafieken) en analytische tools;
- Het analyseren, meten, monitoren en rapporteren van de financiële materialiteit en impact (d.w.z. in waardetermen) van duurzaamheidsrisico's;
- Het monitoren van RI-doelstellingen en duurzaamheidsrisico's vanuit een tweedelijnsperspectief;
- Deelnemen aan het proces voor het opstellen en beoordelen van het duurzaamheidsrisicokader (ESG);
- Leiden van/bijdragen aan het schrijven van risicoadviezen/sign-offs/risicoadvies over (nieuwe) beleggingsvoorstellen en -producten en over klantmandaatgerelateerde verzoeken;
- Het monitoren van externe ontwikkelingen en trends met betrekking tot duurzaamheids(risico)gerelateerde aspecten in de beleggingswereld;
- Deelnemen aan relevante projecten en werkgroepen op verschillende niveaus van de organisatie;
Optreden als tweedelijns Risk Management-vertegenwoordiger richting zowel interne als externe belanghebbenden (beleggingsteams, klanten, toezichthouders, auditors, etc.);
- Het onderhouden van een open en constructieve relatie met andere belanghebbenden binnen de organisatie.

Als Financial Risk Manager ben je een teamspeler en tegelijk hands-on en in staat om met een grote autonomie te werken. Je beschikt over goed ontwikkelde communicatieve vaardigheden, sterke analytische vaardigheden en een oplossingsgerichte instelling. Hoge normen voor de kwaliteit van uw werk en uw organisatorische gevoeligheid zijn goed ontwikkeld. Nauwkeurigheid, proactiviteit en zelfmotivatie zijn voor jou vanzelfsprekend. Je bent authentiek, verbindend en hebt een natuurlijke proactieve houding.

Verder vragen wij:

- Een academisch diploma in het relevante vakgebied (Economie, Econometrie of een gerelateerde statistische/datagerichte veldachtergrond;
- CFA, VBA, CAIA, FRM, SCR of relevante certificeringen zijn een sterk pluspunt);3-5 jaar relevante ervaring in een vermogensbeheeromgeving waarvan een substantieel deel binnen een risicomanagementrol of -positie een sterk pluspunt is;
- Relevante ervaring als kwantitatief analist;
- Kennis van de volgende IT-suites is een sterk pluspunt: RM4 (MSCI Riskmetrics), Bloomberg, Alteryx;
- Vaardigheid in programmeertalen (zoals Python, R);
Bekendheid met datavisualisatietools (bijv. Qlik, Power BI);
- Kennis op het gebied van duurzaamheidsrisico
