Play a key role as our Lead Product Designer ensuring our analytics teams have the right user experience for our customers, and experiment with designs and data.

**We are not a bank**:
A Lead Product Designer at ING Analytics works to design world-class data-driven products for ING. You will work in talented teams, hands-on, to create services that enhance the employee experience. You will be expected to lead the user experience vision and elevate the products in the WBAA (Wholesale Banking Advanced Analytics) portfolio.

We build advanced analytics products that benefit our clients and create impact for the Wholesale Bank. This means:

**Roles and responsibilities**

The WBAA is part of the INGA (ING Analytics) domain and we are growing. We require an outstanding, innovative, and engaging professional to join our team. The focus of the team is set on:

- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define product strategies and priorities for the teams.
- Contribute and expand design systems in Figma
- Create UI front end designs based of research findings
- Prototype design flows to test with users in Figma
- Strategize and design for high-profile analytics products
- Define the visual design strategy for a product area and work with other leads and cross-functional partners to drive consensus across teams
- Assist the Design Chapter in implementing precise visual design
- Create and manage asset libraries for reusable, systematic design
- Create, maintain and evolve visual design guidelines for the Tribe
- Self-motivated, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

- 4+ years experience working as a Snr Visual/Product Designer/Design Lead
- Has & can share an online portfolio of their design work demonstrating their abilities
- Solid knowledge of the creative process at high quality, and to specification
- Expert understanding of the formal elements of design, including typography, layout, balance, and proportion
- Excellent organization and presentation skills to structure your presentations and documents in a way that can be easily understood and modified by others
- Problem solver that requires very little guidance on projects; thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Can undergo user research tasks and tests to gain user insights
- Expert knowledge of Adobe CC suite, Sketch, Figma, Maze, Dovetail and/or other industry-standard creative tools
- Basic level understanding of HTML & CSS
- Demonstrated experience working with a design system; its curation, maintenance, and dissemination
- Highly detail-oriented, with a drive for perfection down to the last pixel
- Are emphatic, ask questions and want to understand why
- Have knack for connecting the dots by analyzing data, analytics, and other metrics
