It is a team of 8 and is part of the Brand & Range team of 13 people. We’re responsible for our global brand strategy and creative output, and work with teams across the business in all markets to bring this to life. Within the Brand & Creative team we’re a dynamic bunch of creative thinkers spanning Creative, Copy/Content, Social and PR. We use customer insight and creative flair to build uplifting and innovative brand experiences for our customers and constantly challenge ourselves to do better. We are one team with Range who develop and design our physical products ranges across categories - from bouquets to small gifts. We collaborate closely with Customer Insight to inform our thinking, with the Commercial team to ensure our plans resonate in their local markets, and with our Digital Product and Design teams on our website and app.We design and create almost everything in-house and are passionate about who we are as a brand and how we show up in the world - and we love seeing bloomon grow, so we work at a fast pace, pouring joy and care into everything we do.⚙️ What you’ll be doing: We are looking for a Creative Lead for the bloomon brand to lead the Creative team and creative identity, across Art Direction, Design and Copy. You'll report to the Group Creative Director as their right-hand creative person, and be a valued partner in further developing our creative identity in close collaboration with the Brand team. The Creative team is responsible for all of the brand’s creative output across organic and paid channels - both digital and physical.You will work collaboratively with the rest of the Brand team and core stakeholders to shape brand storytelling and deliver outstanding content and experiences that set us apart. We combine creativity and data to build a compelling brand experience across content, products, and services that unlocks customer acquisition and retention. Some of the responsibilities include: Lead the creative team (organising the team around the work) and processes Lead and develop the visual identity of the brand and be the guardian of the brand’s tone of voice, with strong Art Direction that ensures that our creative principles and brand guidelines come through in all creative output Line management of Copywriters, Designers and freelance creative partners such as Photographers and Stylists - working together to build engaging and challenging development plans and exciting career possibilities  In partnership with the Brand lead, manage strong ‘end to end’ campaigns and product storytelling - from concept development and art direction through to execution into visuals for multiple touch points (including homepage, email, social content (paid and organic), packaging, physical products, digital media). You ensure the process runs smoothly throughout and are responsible for high-quality creative output. You understand how the creative execution needs to flex for different channels and target audiences and can deliver on strong asset generation and graphic design tasks. Work closely with the Brand and Product Design team to ensure our web and app experiences are strong and consistent across the stages of the customer journey Ensure that our proposition and creative direction are consistently translated into photography (lifestyle and ecommerce). You are responsible for (optimising) these processes and outputs Being an inspiring leader in the team, inspiring team members to produce their strongest possible work that delivers creatively and commercially Lead creative brainstorming sessions and research to develop elevated design concepts and solutions Research and embrace new technology, incorporating the use of AI in the work we do  Leading on the OKRs for the creative team and ensuring smooth delivery of these each quarter Sharing results of the work done with the wider business in relevant forums ( on Slack, in company meetings).

Are a brand guardian - you’ll guard, maintain, and develop the bloomon creative brand. You’ll play a big part in making sure that everything that goes out looks, feels, and sounds like bloomon and meets the needs of the brief.  Love being creative - you can come up with lots of creative ideas through concept development, design to final delivery. You are not specialised in just one creative area and enjoy working across art direction, design, and copy. Enjoy collaborating with others - you’ll work collaboratively with the rest of the brand team and teams across the business - including Digital Product and Marketing (CRM, Acquisition & Retention). Are knowledgeable and passionate about interior and lifestyle trends - motivated to translate these into bloomon content and graphic design so bloomon remains a leader in floral design.  Be comfortable being hands-on as well as managing - this is a player-coach role so we’re looking for someone who can produce excellent creative themselves as well as manage the 3-5 team members in the team in both their creative and project management skills.  Are used to working in a high-paced environment with a strong commercial focus.

✅ You will have:

5+ years of experience either in-house creative team or in a creative agency with a portfolio or work for e-commerce or D2C brands with evidence of creative ideas to design execution. A design-related degree with considerable commercial experience. Team management (multiple direct reports) and creative coaching experience  Experience owning and project managing complex cross-functional projects from ideation to execution Experience across as many creative touch points as possible, with an emphasis on Art Direction and Design, as well as content and copy. Able to use Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Figma and After Effects/Premiere. Able to design and execute across digital and print (and be able to artwork for print).  Able to animate and edit video footage, graphics, and audio.  An understanding of UI/UX to visualise how your idea might come to life across multiple digital touch points.
