As a member of the Trade Services Documentary Trade Team, you will be responsible for executing tasks within the processing of Documentary Trade (Letters of Credit and Collections) and interact closely with the department. Clients base is primarily Corporate Clients NL with many international clients who demand prompt service of a high quality. Team member is expected to abide by international rules relative to compliance and operational risk.

**What will you do?**
- Act as customer contact point and handle customer requests and requests from Large Traders, Corporates and Mid-corporates regarding new requests and / or management of documentary credits and deal execution activities
- Issuing, advising and/or confirming of letters of credit as well as Document checking, in line with the Uniform Customs & Practice for Documentary Credits (UCP) guidelines
- Structure and advise on complex Trade related transactions
- Input and/or authorizing transactions in the bank’s core Trade processing engine and in passing messages through the SWIFT system
- Brings ideas on how to improve and refine the Trade Finance processes
- Keeps up to date with industry developments relating to Trade Finance business
- Ensure that all transactions assigned are handled efficiently and effectively in a timely manner
- Provide support/expertise to areas of business by taking the lead and being responsible such as but not limited to organizational/operational/process management tasks
- Provide guidance to junior resources
- Contribute on the process improvements

- Fluent in English both spoken and written, Dutch language is a plus
