Global Treasury Sales Expert

At Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), a leading financial institution with over 160,000 colleagues worldwide, we are seeking an experienced Transaction Banking Sales Consultant - Cash, Liquidity Management, Trade & Working Capital. As a key member of our EMEA Transaction Banking team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and client satisfaction across a portfolio of existing clients and identifying new business opportunities.
Salary and Benefits:
As a Transaction Banking Sales Consultant, you can expect a competitive gross salary based on experience, ranging from €80,000 to €120,000 per year, depending on your background and qualifications. In addition, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including 8% holiday allowance, 13th month payment, and 30 vacation days per year, plus additional paid time off. Our comprehensive benefits package also includes a commuting allowance, remote working compensation, and the possibility to order mobile phone equipment and office supplies for home use.
About the Role:
This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity to join a fast-paced team focused on delivering exceptional results and building long-term relationships with clients. As a Transaction Banking Sales Consultant, you will be accountable for defining and executing client strategies, managing pipelines, and developing strong relationships with stakeholders across various functions and regions. You will work closely with coverage partners, product teams, and other departments to drive business growth and identify new opportunities. This role requires a proven track record of sales and management experience, with a strong understanding of cash, liquidity management, trade & working capital finance products, regulatory trends, and industry developments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline.
- At least 7 years of experience in Vice President-level cash, liquidity management, trade & working capital finance sales at a Tier 1 global financial institution.
- Proven track record of adapting to different operating environments and market conditions.
- Experience of senior client global corporate/MNC & FIG sales and management within a comparable Transaction Banking role.
- Demonstrated revenue growth across a 5-year business cycle and ongoing enhancement of critical factors such as new-to-bank revenue, utilization, balance sheet optimization, and diversification of cross-sell revenue.
- SME knowledge of European and Asian markets, including the competitive landscape.
- Strong technical knowledge across all cash, liquidity management, trade & working capital finance products, regulatory trends, and industry developments.
- Solid experience with payment channels and platforms – bank-owned as well as third-party, and emerging liquidity themes and technology.
- Strong knowledge of changing regulatory and industry climate in terms of Basel IV, PSD2 & 3, ISO20022, MIFID, etc.
- Developed influence and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and ability to operate at all levels – written, verbal, presentation material, etc.
- Strong understanding of risk and market environments across the cash, liquidity management, trade & working capital finance spectrum – including credit, legal, compliance, implementation, operations, etc.
- Strong analytical skills to aggregate, collate, and make actionable insights from complex clients and market data to identify opportunity, client efficiencies, and bank/client mutual benefit.

A calm approach, ability to perform well in a pressurized environment, and strong numerical and analytical skills are essential. The ideal candidate should be able to manage tight deadlines, prioritize tasks effectively, and demonstrate sound judgment. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and accuracy are also required.
