Gaïago is a French company specializing in soil revitalization through living organisms. Driven by the vision that Humans thrive when the Earth thrives, the men and women of Gaïago, alongside their distributor partners, aim to accelerate regenerative agriculture to create economic value.
We are looking for:
- A Territory Manager for The Netherlands / Belgium
Under the supervision of a Sales Director, you will be responsible for the technical and commercial development of Gaïago products in the designated area, working closely with Technical Development Engineers. You will provide support, coordination, and training for the commercial and technical teams of partner distributors.
**Develop the commercial growth of assigned distributors**:
- Define the strategy and development plan for each distributor.
- Be responsible for achieving sales targets for assigned distributors and farmers.
**Support and coordinate the technical and commercial teams of distributors**:
- Train technical and commercial (TC) teams on the agronomic approach proposed by Gaïago and its products.
- Train TC teams to observe the results of this new approach.
- Lead presentations at trade shows, campaign launches, and meetings with distributors and farmers to present the concepts and modes of action of the company's products.
- Build trusting relationships with distributors, TC teams, farmers, and influencers in your area.
**Provide expertise to clients' commercial teams**:
- Answer technical questions from clients in your area and provide advice to maximize the effects of the product range.
**Manage a client database (distributors and farmers) and ensure client loyalty**:
- Enrich and update the client database using the CRM tool.
- Provide reports following meetings.
- Ensure client satisfaction.
**Represent the company in your sector and be recognized as a soil expert in your area**:
- Develop relationships with local influencers
- Represent the company at promotional events, trade shows, etc.
- Identify future needs and implicit needs of clients.
- Monitor regulatory, technical, and competitive developments in your sector and inform your superiors.
**Collaborate with Development Engineers, ADV, and all support services**:
- Know when to consult Development Engineers on complex issues and new products.
**Technical skills / education**:
- Degree in agricultural engineering or equivalent.
- You are a field-oriented person, passionate about agronomy, soil knowledge, and agricultural practices. You want to act daily in the service of the agroecological transition.
- You are capable of understanding, describing, and explaining the life of a soil from a soil profile.
**Technical IT skills**:
- Proficient in IT and digital tools (CRM, Google Work).
**Behavioral skills**:
- Entrepreneurial spirit.
- Client-oriented and results-driven to achieve set objectives.
- Eager to learn a new approach.
- Comfortable with public speaking.
- Rigorous and methodical in your work.
- Able to work in a team and autonomously.
**Language skills**:
- Dutch, English, French (not mandatory)
**Conditions**:
- Home office with a strong field presence. The site requires a postal code but the position is not in Amersfoort, the person can live anywhere in The Netherlands or Belgium, more likely closer to the Belgian border than the North of The Netherlands
- Company vehicle.
- Laptop and mobile phone.
- Salary based on profile.
