As a Finance Business Operations Intern at IDEXX you will be at the heart of our Financial and order processing operations. You will be a part the European Finance Business Operations Team, responsible for all accurate, timely and compliant order entry, checks and processing for some 21 countries.
In this role
The Finance Business Operations Team at IDEXX is responsible for processing and managing all orders and service contracts within EMEA. This involves topics such as billing adjustments, product returns, rebates, discounts and special pricing on which you will have contact with several internal stakeholders. You will be working directly with IDEXX Sales professionals, the Marketing Department and Finance to ensure smooth and compliant order flows.
What You Will Need to Succeed
We are looking for a Business Management student with a Finance or Business focus, with love for numbers, good communication skills and the ability to multitask.
You are available for an internship starting on January or February 2024 for a duration of six months..
As we work in an international environment, fluency in English is a key, both written and verbal.
Being assertive, taking initiative and being able to work independently.
You enjoy working in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment.
You are strong user of MS Office and especially Excel.
You have the ability to work alone and, in a team, you are self-motivated, solutions driven, within a changing, fast-paced environment.
You possess a professional attitude, have attention to detail and eager to learn.
You have emotional intelligence, humility, willingness to learn and take and receive feedback constructively.
High ethical standards.

We offer you a monthly allowance of 650 euros and a fair share of responsibility.
Some practical aspects
You are available to start on Jnauary or February 2024 and can work with us for 6 months full-time (40 hours a week).
You need to be enrolled as a student towards the attaining of a degree to be eligible for this internship and to secure university approval to start the assignment. If you are not an European national, you will also need to provide an approved Nuffic agreement.
Our office is located in Hoofddorp, next to the train station (25 minutes from Amsterdam by train). This internship will be in a 'hybrid' format. Therefore, you are welcome to work in person at our offices, but can also do it remote, with regular contact with your manager and international colleagues through video call.
