**Job Scope**

This is a position within the Alliance Operations Team, directly reporting to the Director Alliance Operations.
**About You**

As a Manager of Alliance Operations, you'll be at the forefront of fostering collaboration, driving synergy, and ensuring compliance within SkyTeam. Your responsibilities will include managing transition support teams, coordinating relevant SkyTeam teams and projects, and ensuring compliance with governance documents. At our core, the Alliance Operation Team is dedicated to ensuring that each member airline feels supported, valued, and seamlessly integrated into the SkyTeam family. We're not just about expanding our network; we're about creating meaningful connections and enhancing the travel experience for passengers worldwide

You'll work closely with our Alliance Operations team to support intra-alliance cooperation and communication, facilitating compliance checks of member airlines, and assisting in the preparation and coordination of governance meetings. Your role will be dynamic, encompassing various tasks to ensure the seamless operation of the alliance and the realization of our collective goals.
**Key Result Areas / Key Responsibilities**

**1. New Member joining**
- Keep up to date relevant SkyTeam “governance” documents, in coordination with Program Director - SkyTeam Governance
- Meeting/project team management: agenda definition, content preparation, organization, minutes, action plan and follow-up

**2. Alliance Operations: General**
- Support the Alliance Operations team, in coordination with teammates and the Director - Alliance Operations, in achieving the general Team goals of supporting intra-Alliance cooperation and seamless communication and coordination with the SkyTeam office.
- Work with the Program Director - SkyTeam Governance in preparing and coordinating SkyTeam Governance meetings and processes
- Generally: in concert with team members and the Director - Alliance Operations, take on and fufill tasks related to Alliance Operations that may be necessary from time to time to ensure the seamless operation of the alliance, including, but not limited to, coordination between the SkyTeam office and Members’ relevant teams/working groups and colleagues.

**Must have**:
Authorization/availability to reside and work legally in The Netherlands on a full-time basis

**Your profile**:
**Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience**
- Relevant airline industry background
- Project management experience
- Substantial experience working in an international environment with multinational and multicultural demographics
- Experienced working in a complex environment, with communication on all levels, dealing with different interests
- Ability to defend initiatives / ideas by presenting rational arguments
- Ability to be convincing and diplomatic
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Ability to travel on frequent basis, sometimes at short notice
