People Operations Europe Intern
As a People Operations Intern you will gain valuable experience by performing a variety of activities within the Human Resources department. This department supports management and staff in their day-to-day people activities needed to meet the organization’s goals. This team is part of the Global Operational Excellence team in the Human Resources department at IDEXX.
In this role
You will be a part of the HR People Operations team and assist them throughout their day-to-day tasks and projects.
There are a number of projects that you could be responsible for from launch to end. Think of projects around payroll preparation, data updates, management of benefit changes, process improvements, global mobility, template alignment, time and absence compliance, preparation of documents for employees, and employee communication and relationship management.
What You Will Need to Succeed
Having an energetic attitude paired with an academic focus in Human Resources, good communication skills and the ability to multitask.
Being open, organized and pro-active will help you in your day-to-day activities.
The ability to work detail oriented while adhering to deadlines, working under pressure.
To be fluent in both English and a second language is preferred. Technical affinity or experience is beneficial.
Resourcefulness in devising ways to make assigned tasks more time efficient and improve current process is welcomed.

We offer you an allowance of 650 euros per month, a fair share of responsibilities, and the opportunity to be part of a great international team where you will be exposed to and learn about HR operations.
Some practical aspects
You are available to start in February 2025, or sooner, and work with us for 5-6 months. This role is a full-time position, 40 hours a week.
To be eligible for this internship you need to be enrolled as a student towards the attaining of a degree in the Netherlands and secure your university approval to start this assignment.
Our office is located in Hoofddorp, next to the train station (25 minutes from Amsterdam by train). We are working in a hybrid model, with a preference to working one day a week from the office and when there is a business or team/social need. The other days we work from home. It is of course possible to come to the office when you prefer working from there.
