**People & Finance support role**

Commonland is growing and therefore we are looking for extra support in our People, Finance & Operations team The team consists of an Executive Assistant, Office Manager, Finance Manager and the HR Manager. Our Managing Director is the team lead of this team. You will report to the Finance manager and People manager.

As the HR & Finance Assistant, you are responsible for all operational and administrative People activities. You are the point of contact for team members regarding employment conditions, leave, absence and other HR-related questions, regardless of their function level within the organization. In addition to People-related activities, you support the Finance Manager with the finance activities. These include the accounts payable administration, processing expense claims and checking our credit card administration.

**Your responsibilities**
- Responsible for recruitment in close collaboration with the Hiring Manager’s
- Responsible for onboarding new colleagues in close collaboration with the Hiring Manager and Office Manager
- Responsible for payroll activities in the Netherlands as well as in the UK, Germany, Italy and Ireland
- Responsible for contract management, like employment contracts and/or freelance contracts
- The first point of contact for team members and team leads regarding People questions
- Organising internal people activities with the PFO and Marcom team
- Responsible for finance activities, like handling the accounts payable administration including the credit card administration and the personnel declarations Manage the insurance packages, Adobe Sign, and office work when our Office manager is absent

**You bring**
- An open and hands-on mindset with at least 5-7 years of experience in a supporting and it’s a big plus when you have worked in a combined People & Finance role
- You have experience in executing all standard People and Finance processes, like salary mutations, setting up contracts and processing expense claims.
- A team player with an eye for details, precise and good communication skills
- Fluency in Dutch and English, both speaking and writing is a prerequisite

- A plus if you have experience working for impact-driven organisations in an international environment
- Availability for 3 or 4 days per week (starting as soon as possible).
- You are located and eligible to work in the Netherlands
