**What you do on a typical day**

You start your day by of course first saying hello to your colleagues upon entering and possibly discussing the day before. After a short briefing, your day starts and the first thing you do is check the data of the stock. In this, as Inventory Controller, you make sure that you monitor the process of keeping the stock up-to-date on a daily basis. In doing so, you are able to make connections between goods movements in different departments. You also play a crucial role in identifying and solving problems, all in cooperation with your colleagues and your manager. You report to the Team Leader Business Support and work in 2 shifts.

**Your tasks consist of**:

- Digitally managing the stocks in the warehouse
- Analysing, registering and resolving stock discrepancies
- Optimising the inventory management processes in consultation with various departments within the organisation
- Performing various analyses to support the process
- Performing both ad hoc and periodic stock counts and checks

**What you need to succeed at GXO**
- MBO work and thinking level
- Insight into logistics processes and experience with inventory management in a warehouse environment
- Microsoft Excel knowledge
- A good command of English, both written and verbal, with Dutch an advantage
- Experience in working with WMS/ERP systems
- You are alert, accurate, stress-resistant, flexible and have problem-solving skills
- You have a healthy dose of energy and humour
