The Job

You are an analytically strong financial with a critical mindset who wants to be part of the Financial Controlling team in the heart of our financial operation. You have a couple of years’ experience in a similar financial role, preferably in an international environment and ideally within the Wholesale or Retail business. You fit into a team of 6 Controllers, together you know the ins and outs of the whole international organization and report to both internal and external stakeholders. With a specific interest in accounting principles (IFRS and Dutch GAAP), you make sure we are always compliant. You are enthusiastic to help our fast-growing and changing organization to advance and to constantly challenge our current ways of working with the aim to improve and automate our processes.

As a Financial Accountant you will be part of the Finance team within stichd headquarters in ‘s-Hertogenbosch and you will report to the Manager Accounting & Control. We believe it is important that you fit into our company. Therefore, you are a technically strong professional who knows how to make the complex easy. In addition, you are grounded, down-to-earth, a team player and have good sense of humour.

Your Mission
- You support the Financial Controller Retail and Financial Controller Wholesale with preparation and analysis of financial data;
- You will work with your colleagues to ensure accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end closing, resolving discrepancies and irregularities noted;
- You will liaise with the various departments within the company to achieve the above;
- You will be responsible for the financial administration of 6 legal entities;
- You will be responsible for specific P&L and balance sheet accounts within the Wholesale and Retail entities.
- You will take care of the monthly (recurring) journal entries for the Retail and Wholesale entities.
- You will setup and maintain balance sheet specifications and ensure that these specifications are up-to-date;
- You will have an important supporting role during the year
- end group audit, such as providing documentation for various tests, coordinating of balance confirmations;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and the financial administration.

Your Talent

- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a fast-growing international environment;
- HBO, Bachelor or Master degree in Finance - Business Economics;
- Positive result driven attitude;
- A flexible and a Can do mentality;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Experience in SAP is a pre;
- You have experience and/or affinity in Wholesale and Retail business and will support the Controllers with defined task packages;
- Good command of writing and speaking in Dutch and English language is a must.

- 1-year contract with option for extension to permanent contract;
- Salary based on 38 hours per week, depending on education and experience;
- Our salaries are based on 38 hours per week, but fulltime work is 40 hours per week. Instead, you choose between a lot of holidays; 37/40 per year ór choose for a 40-hour salary per month with still 25/28 holidays. You can switch every six months;
