**Introduction to the job**:
Would you like to contribute to the Six Sigma Competence and Black Belt program that helps our Development & Engineering (D&E) organization to be more efficient and effective? This job requires you to be Six Sigma project lead combining your Six Sigma and project management skills.

As a market Leader in Semi-Conductor equipment, ASML faces a big responsibility and many challenges. In order to meet customer demand, high production performance is key. And to stay competitive, a constant effort on decreasing Cost of Non Quality and Cost of Ownership is needed.

Many of these challenges face waste and variation issues and require state of the art Lean and Six Sigma approach to realize break throughs. You will lead black belt projects to overcome these challenges.

**Role and responsibilities**:
Leading Black Belt projects within D&E and/or Cross sector Black Belt program, using your analytical skills and Six Sigma tools to solve complex challenges across ASML.

In this job you will:

- Lead Six Sigma Black Belt projects.
- Investigate, analyze and recommend solutions to drive process improvements, quality improvements and cost improvements using Six Sigma principles.

**Education and experience**:

- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt
- Lean certification is a plus
- DfSS certification is a plus
- MSc in a technical direction
- 5+ years of work experience in complex technically driven and international organization(s).
- Experience in High Capital, Low Volume markets is a plus.
- Track record of quality management and coordination achievements (including Six Sigma)
- Experience in project management
- Experience in Minitab (preferably) and using Six Sigma tools

**Skills**:

- Your excellent analytical and people skills are prerequisite to lead Six Sigma BB projects and prove Six Sigma way of working in the organization
- You are a pro-active self-starter capable to taking initiative
- Your excellent analytical skills help you to quickly asses the problem case at hand and know how to set priorities between different alternatives or deliverables.
- You can be hands-on, tackling roadblocks easily as they come.
- You know how to lead and facilitate workshops and talk to SMEs to collect input for the project you are leading
- Persistent and detail oriented

**Other information**:
You will be part of the Quality & Excellence team of Development & engineering organization reporting into the sr Quality Program manager. The team will drive improvements in how we run and change the business.
