Lab Technician Electrochemical

EindhovenWe are seeking a skilled lab technician to join our team focused on the direct electrochemical conversion of CO2 and renewable (bio-based) feedstocks into chemical building blocks. This role involves supporting our electrification projects through a variety of lab-based tasks and research activities.

**| Your challenges?**:

- Setting up and conducting testing programs using our electrochemistry setups.
- Performing sample analysis with techniques such as GC, HPLC, and LC-MS.
- Testing reactors, including various flow reactor concepts, electrodes, and materials.
- Maintaining detailed logbooks and reporting experimental results.
- Assisting the team in the research and optimization of electrochemical processes.

**| What do we expect from you?**:
**Qualifications**:

- A BSc degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- A background in chemistry, with a strong interest in chemical engineering and analytical techniques.
- Lab experience, particularly in electrochemistry, including cyclic voltammetry and preparative electrolysis.
- An understanding of the challenges involved in scaling up technology.
- Project awareness, including planning, deliverables, budgets, and costs.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
- Basic programming skills in languages such as Python for data processing and reporting are a plus.

- A hands-on mentality, comfortable working in a lab and within a team of researchers.
- Ability to work independently, set up measurement equipment, perform tests, and analyze and report results.
- Safety-conscious and precise in your work.
- Enthusiastic about developing (pilot) systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders.
