**WCS Junior Risk and Control Manager**

ING is looking to hire a Junior Risk and Control Manager to support the expansion of the Working Capital Solutions (WCS) business. The WCS Junior Risk and Control manager is responsible for realizing that the WCS business and particular the Supply Chain Finance (SCF) business is being delivered in a controlled manner in line with ING’s strategy, internal/external legislation, regulatory standards, policies and procedures.

**Job description**

As this is a 1st Line of Defense function in a developing department, with strong growth ambitions, many of the tasks will emerge over time. However some key activities for this role are:
**Management and risk reporting**
- Help develop the global WCS/SCF (non-financial) product risk management strategy and ensure the implementation of it across the value chain and ING’s network;
- Help ensure that the WCS/SCF business operates in accordance with ING strategy, internal/external legislation, regulatory standards, policies and procedures and contribute to the reliability and integrity of WCS products, services and employees;
- Help develop and introduce risk and control best practices in WCS across multiple international locations;
- Help develop and maintain WCS/SCF risk and control logs including key control testing
- Identify, mitigate, monitor and report (non-financial) risks and prepare the Business Control quarterly reporting

**Transaction Management and Servicing**
- Conduct SCF Control activities prior to going live and during the lifecycle of the SCF transactions including:

- Verify KYC documentation (CDD, Name screening, etc), legal documentation and buyer/supplier/FI representations
- Verify Credit Risk approvals/conditions (incl temp modifications)
- Verify correct set-up in the SCF system
- Execute and maintain checklists and adequately store SCF Control information (maintain audit trail)
- Provide system dual enforced approvals (e.g. daily payments to third party funders, bank account changes, temporary limit changes, terminations of buyers and suppliers)
- Address queries from the WB Offboarding team
- Perform Global data protection clean up and due diligence monitoring activities

**Credit**
- Monitor decision sheets and check annual reviews and updated credit review dates in FL

**Your work environment**
- ING Wholesale Banking is undergoing an ambitious transformation of its front-to-back operating model to become more client centric and efficient in its operations. WCS is an integral part of this transition;
- ING offers a comprehensive range of WCS products (Supply Chain Finance, Trade Receivables Purchase Programs. International Corporate Receivables Financing) to corporate clients and financial institutions across the world. WCS has set very ambitious targets for growth and efficiency for coming years;
- The role will be based in Amsterdam.

**Who we are looking for?**
- Experience with WCS/SCF products, the underlying processes, systems and governance would be a strong advantage;
- Strong team player with a challenging spirit who is seeking to assist WCS up continue its growth path in a scalable and sustainable manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to mobilize people and manage stakeholders across the value chain and ING network;
- Structured, disciplined work approach, experience with project management, ability to work under time pressure, accuracy and attention to details is a must;
- Excellent command of the English language in written and verbal forms;
- Proficient in MS Office;
- Knowledge of and experience with Credit Risk and Signatory Approval Processes would be an advantage;
- Knowledge of and experience with OPS/IT systems and procedures would be an advantage;
- Familiarity with English law and legal documentation more generally is considered to be helpful.
