**Your Role**:
As the Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), you will define, lead, and implement Stahl’s global information security strategy. You will be accountable for protecting Stahl’s global IT infrastructure, assets, and sensitive information from current and emerging threats. Collaborating with senior leadership, IT professionals, and external stakeholders, you will foster a robust cybersecurity culture across the organization while ensuring compliance with global standards and frameworks.

This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity in manufacturing environments, preferably including operational technology (OT) security, and the ability to address challenges specific to industrial control systems and critical infrastructure.

You will report directly to Stahl’s executive leadership and manage a global team of security professionals, including technical and strategic security staff.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Strategic Leadership**:- Develop and execute a comprehensive global information security strategy aligned with Stahl’s business objectives.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of the enterprise security architecture.
- Establish security policies, standards, and governance frameworks to safeguard all digital and physical assets.
- **Risk Management**:- Conduct global risk assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities, with a focus on manufacturing and OT environments.
- Oversee the implementation of risk management practices across the organization and its global operations.
- Develop protocols to address information security incidents and crises effectively.
- **Threat Intelligence & Incident Response**:- Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, leveraging threat intelligence frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK).
- Supervise the monitoring, detection, and investigation of potential security breaches.
- Lead the response and recovery efforts for any cybersecurity incidents.
- **Manufacturing & OT Security**:- Drive security measures tailored to industrial control systems (ICS) and manufacturing operations.
- Ensure cybersecurity integration within operational technology (OT) domains across all manufacturing sites.
- Collaborate with operations teams to secure legacy systems and mitigate OT-specific risks.
- **Governance & Compliance**:- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements such as ISO27001, NIST, ITIL, and Cobit.
- Maintain oversight of cybersecurity measures in manufacturing sites and OT domains.
- **Team Development & Culture**:- Build and lead a global information security team, fostering a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement.
- Oversee security training programs and spearhead phishing and security awareness campaigns.
- **Performance Metrics & Reporting**:
- Deliver multi-level cybersecurity dashboards and performance metrics to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
- Evaluate and report on the security performance of external IT security suppliers.

**Profile**:

- Proven experience as a senior leader in information security, preferably in a global manufacturing or industrial organization.
- Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity in operational technology (OT) environments, including securing industrial control systems (ICS).
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including network security, IAM, 2FA, vulnerability management, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with threat modeling and risk management frameworks.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are required; additional certifications in OT security (e.g., GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443) are preferred.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence at the C-suite level.Fluent in English; additional languages such as Dutch are a plus.
