THE POSITION

As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will work closely with the Cluster Chef to ensure the right quality of food is served to our guests. In Amsterdam North you need to be able to handle the work that comes with a hotel with 438 rooms, 2 meeting rooms, busy breakfast, and a restaurant with 60 covers. We serve large volumes of guests, in buffet-style and a la carte. You should have experience in managing a kitchen, creating menus, and ensuring food safety standards are met. You should also be able to work well under pressure and have good communication skills. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and skills while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

**Your day to day**:
- **Assisting the Cluster Chef in menu planning and development.****:

- **Preparing and cooking dishes for lunch and dinner; including buffets.****:

- **Supervising and training junior chefs and kitchen staff.****:

- **Ensuring that all food safety and hygiene regulations are followed.****:

- **Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.****:

- **Assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies.****:

- **Help with scheduling, invoices, HACCP registration, and ordering when the Cluster Chef is away.****:

- **Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth running of the kitchen.**

- **Working in a kitchen environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.****:

- **Experience working in a hotel kitchen or a similar high-volume environment.****:

- **Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and ensure smooth kitchen operations.****:

- **You're a great communicator.****:

- **You've an eye for detail.****:

- **Speaking English, the Dutch language is a plus.**
