Account Executive - Small Medium Businesses (SMB)

Location: Nieuwegein, Utrecht

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for connecting with clients and building relationships? Global Knowledge is seeking a dynamic Account Executive (SMB) who thrives in a high-activity environment. This role is perfect for someone with a hunter mentality, eager to make an impact by conducting high volumes of client outreach, driving revenue growth, and expanding our training and development (T&D) solutions footprint.

As an SMB Account Executive, you will take a proactive approach to contacting existing clients, aiming to make 80-100 calls per week to establish and grow a robust customer portfolio. Your primary focus will be on managing and expanding accounts that have purchased from us in the past year, driving repeat business, and identifying opportunities to further penetrate and maximize the value of each account.

Position Responsibilities
- Drive top-line revenue growth through expansion of T&D solutions.
- Sell directly to SMB IT departments, engaging decision-makers at the Management level.
- Meet and exceed weekly activity and sales targets, showcasing a strong results-oriented approach.
- Own and manage a dedicated list of prospects, developing and executing personalized engagement strategies.
- Represent a solution line with clear competitive differentiators, positioning Global Knowledge as the partner of choice.
- Collaborate with the broader SMB sales team, marketing, and support resources to advance key opportunities.
- Develop a thorough understanding of Skillsoft sales plays, including Speed of Technology and Aspire, to align solutions with client needs.

Desired Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of successful B2B sales experience in IT, training, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets with a focus on weekly and monthly activity goals.
- Experience prospecting, penetrating, and managing a designated territory to maximize revenue growth.
- Familiarity with selling to IT departments or within the learning and human capital technology space is a plus.
- Strong ability to handle objections, manage rejection, and adapt strategies to achieve results.
- Proven track record of executing a high-volume outreach strategy and leveraging all stages of the sales cycle.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate solutions that meet client requirements.
