**What are my responsibilities?**

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for all marketing activities about Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel. In this position, you manage and implement marketing programs. This includes project management of assigned programs, ensuring pull through of relevant Global and European marketing initiatives and development and implementation of property and market-based programs based on local needs and demand generation opportunities. You lead, support and coach the marketing team. Next to this, you are in close contact with department heads and our sales team to ensure marketing efforts are effectively integrated with the sales strategies of the organization. Your key goal is to generate profitable revenue to increase RevPar, market share and brand awareness for the hotel.

- You are in the possession of excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills;
- You are comfortable in making decisions and taking initiative;

**To be eligible for this position you**
- Like to work in a Marketing and Sales environment ;
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Hospitality Management;
- Have 2-5 years of experience in a marketing communications position;
- Experience in the hospitality industry and knowledge of the Amsterdam Hospitality market is preferred;
- Can communicate fluently in Dutch and English.
