***:
**Purchasing**: Coordinate and execute purchasing activities to fulfill the company's procurement needs, including sourcing, selecting vendors, and placing purchase orders.
**Market research**: Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify potential vendors, assess product quality, negotiate pricing, and terms of agreements to achieve cost savings and ensure supplier reliability.
**Relationship building**: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, managing vendor performance, resolving issues, and monitoring compliance with contractual agreements.
**Collaboration**:Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including inventory planners, warehouse personnel, and finance teams, to ensure alignment of purchasing activities with inventory management goals and budgetary constraints.
**Analysis**: Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, and sales data to determine optimal purchasing quantities, reorder points, and lead times to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
**Tech-savvy**: Utilize procurement software systems and tools to track purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and generate reports to provide insights into purchasing trends, cost variances, and supplier performance metrics.
**Process management**: Implement and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline purchasing processes, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at driving process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and enhancing overall operational efficiency within the supply chain.
**Trends**: Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies in procurement and supply chain management to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
**Support**: Provide support and assistance to the operations team as needed, including inventory reconciliation, order fulfillment, and other operational tasks to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
**️Ideal Profile**:
**Bachelor's degree** in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field, additional certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
**Proven experience** (3+ years) in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations, with a focus on buying and vendor management.
**Strong negotiation skills** with the ability to drive cost savings, negotiate favorable terms, and build collaborative relationships with suppliers.
**Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities**, with a data-driven mindset to analyze procurement data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
**Proficiency in procurement software systems** (e.g., ERP, eProcurement platforms) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
**Excellent organizational skills** and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
**Strong communication and interpersonal skills**, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
**Proactive and self-motivated** with a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
**Knowledge of inventory management principles**, supply chain logistics, and operational processes is preferred.
**Strong ethical standards** and commitment to integrity in all business dealings.
