Batterijtechnologie is dé drijvende kracht achter de energietransitie, zowel voor groene energieopslag als voor de elektrificatie van mobiliteit en industrie. Nederland staat wereldwijd sterk met unieke expertise op gebieden als heavy-duty mobiliteit, dunne-film technologie en innovatieve materialen. Dan is deze rol als **Directeur bij het Battery Competence Cluster the Netherlands (BCC-NL)** jouw kans om impact te maken

**Wat ga je doen?**
Je geeft leiding aan een gedreven en divers team van 7-10 professionals. Dit team bestaat voor een deel uit medewerkers van de samenwerkingspartners Brainport Development, RAI Automotive Industry, Oost NL en ARN. Samen zetten jullie grote stappen richting duurzame batterij-innovatie. Je bepaalt de koers, werkt aan ambitieuze projecten zoals het €750 miljoen groeifondsprogramma “Material Independence & Circular Batteries” en zorgt dat Nederland internationaal stevig op de kaart blijft staan. Daarnaast ben je hét aanspreekpunt voor zowel publieke als private partners en bouw je bruggen tussen industrie, wetenschap en overheid.

De werkorganisatie van de recent opgerichte stichting moet nog verder worden vormgegeven. In deze opstartfase geef je als directeur dan ook nadrukkelijk sturing aan de inrichting en werkwijze van de planning
- en controlcyclus van de stichting.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

- **Leiding geven** aan een divers en getalenteerd team van professionals.
- **Strategie ontwikkelen** en uitrollen van de Nationale Batterijstrategie, en zorgen dat die in de praktijk impact heeft.
- **Inrichten en vormgeven **van de werkorganisatie.
- **Zorgen voor een adequate planning
- en verantwoording **van de doelen en budget richting subsidiegever(s).
- **Vertegenwoordigen** van de Nederlandse batterijsector in binnen
- en buitenland; jij bent ons boegbeeld.
- **Initiëren **van nieuwe innovatie projecten en programma’s zoals het groeifondsprogramma of andere baanbrekende initiatieven.
- **Samenwerken** met het bestuur van de Stichting BCC-NL en belangrijke stakeholders zoals de ministeries van Economische Zaken en Infrastructuur en Waterstaat.
- **Netwerken en verbinden**, zowel op nationaal als internationaal niveau, om ons ecosysteem verder uit te bouwen.

**Wat neem je mee?**
- Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in de oprichting/inrichting van een werkorganisatie.
- Ruime ervaring met (opstarten van) innovatieprojecten en - programma’s en kennis van batterijtechnologie.
- Je bent een hands-on directeur.
- Je bent bestuurlijk sensitief en kunt gemakkelijk schakelen tussen verschillende stakeholders.
- Je bent een sterke communicator en spreekt vloeiend Nederlands en Engels.
- Je hebt een frisse kijk op diversiteit en inclusie, en weet hoe je mensen met verschillende achtergronden kunt verbinden.
- Je bent ondernemend in mindset en gedrag en hebt een passie voor duurzaamheid en innovatie.
